Envision's custom screw down lid plastic enclosures utilize heat staked threaded inserts to support the covers used on these enclosure options. Most often the inserts are brass threaded inserts with thread sizes of 4-40, 6-32, or 8-32. Other inserts sizes are available as well. Gaskets may also be added to the inner perimeter enclosure frame rail to prevent moisture and dust from entering through the cover of the gasketed plastic enclosure.
