PC-300 Static Dissipative Polycarbonate

PC-300 Polycarbonate sheet is designed to control static electricity. It is a high quality polycarboante material which has been surfaced with SciCron Technologies proprietary clear C-300 static dissipative surfacing. This unique coating technology prevents charge generation on the plastic sheet surface thereby controlling particulate attraction and preventing electrostatic discharge events (ESD events).

PC-300 is UL94-V2 rated at .118 thick and is UL94-V0 rated at .236 thick.

PC-300 resists tribocharging under all circumstances and cannot generate a charge when properly grounded. This makes it ideal for use in manufacturing and assembly operations for charge sensitive electronic components where it can help prevent immediate and latent ESD defects. This material is very suitable for the semi-conductor, electronic, and micro-manufacturing industries.

Typical applications for PC-300 seen at Envision using NMR Technology are: plastic guards, covers, LCD windows, viewing doors, machine covers, instrument protectors, storage bins, and process equipment enclosures.
